Open letter to all visitors to this site and our supporters

Dear All,

We are a small cat rescue charity, local to the St Austell Area of Cornwall, in our 5 year of business. We currently run our organisation from home with the cats and kittens in the care of fosterers, in custom built pens or dedicated spare rooms.

Although we take in as many cats as we can, we still have to turn many away as we do not have enough space. We would like to provide St Austell and surrounding area with a, much needed, rescue/re-homing centre; this would mean that we could take in many more unwanted, stray and abandoned animals, ensure they are in good health and find them new homes.

Our aim is to raise as least £200,000 to buy a suitable premises and equip it with the necessary pens, equipment and storage buildings. In addition, we could hold fundraising events and open days. It may also open the way to taking in other needy animals such as ex battery hens.

We are asking you to promise a part of this sum which we will claim when we have enough pledges to achieve the required amount.

If you can help please write back to us at the above address with your pledge and we will keep you informed of our progress.

We would of course acknowledge your contribution on a prominent sponsor’s board at the centre.

Thank you for considering this request, we look forward to hearing from you.
